It is with deep sadness that the family of Gloria Emanuel Carter wishes to inform you of her passing on Monday, April 8, 2019, after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s.
She was a registered professional nurse of 40-plus years in the Virgin Islands and abroad.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, May 6, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral. There will be no viewing.
She is survived, by her nieces, Ann-Paul Williams, Antoinette Ernest, Candance Parilla (niece-in-law); nephews, Derek “Candyman” Parrilla, Franke Hoheb and the late Michael Paul, and former Senator Alvin “Ali” Paul; former husbands, Trevor Stewart, Errol Baynes, and Waverly Carter; no children or grandchildren; great-nieces and nephews, Edwin Emanuel Jr. and Shahara Emanuel-Harrigan, Marie, Christopher, and Calvin Paul, Chantel Hoheb, Kwesi Williams and wife Jesulie Sanchez-Williams, Darnell Paul and wife Tara Otway-Paul, and Devon Paul, Candia, Dereka and Britni Parrilla, Anthony Alvin Paul, and his wife Dawn Chanel Paul, Sergio Paul Sr., Allisa Paul-Taylor, Aixa Paul-Boyde, Brandon Paul, Morgan Paul (deceased); best friends, Ms. Mavis Turnbull-Richards, Iris Dottin, Irene Gopaul, Alicia Fellner, Norma Rijos-Dopson, Felecia Adams-Brownlow; special cousins, Dawn Brady, Ri Nakamura; special friends, former Gov.
