Iris Susannah Sealey, better known as Georgette, passed away in Tallahassee, Florida. She was 70 years old.
The first viewing will be held Thursday, March 7, 2019, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services. The second viewing will be held Friday, March 8, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with service immediately following at Memorial Moravian Church. Interment is at Western Cemetery No. 1.
She was preceded in death by her son, Devon Joseph and daughter Tiffany Davis. She is survived by her daughters, Jozette Joseph of Florida, Debbie Ettienne of St. Croix, Latorya Sealey of Missouri, and son Kenroy Joseph of Antigua; grandchildren, Kaynnysha Blake and Ariel Davis of Florida, Michael Wright, Wren Gittens Jr., Wrenna Gittens, and Anya' Ettienne of St Croix; sisters, Marilyn Thomas and Irose Lake of Antigua; brother, Murphy James of Antigua; nieces, Valiere Brooks of New York, Maxine Miller, Donna Brooks, Dornell John, Charmaine Auguste, Corlette Morris, Anzelic Lobby, Valencia, Ann Marie Lake, Myra Henry and Shelby James of Antigua; nephews, Patrick Books of St. Thomas, St. Clair Williams, Andy Arthur Jr., Jamie Lake, and Philmore James of Antigua; goddaughter, Jayah Hazelwood; special friend- adopted sister, Janet Smith; special friends, Audrey Hanley, Aveilla Walker, and David Liburd; cousin, Judith Simon and Smith, Johnson, and Thomas family, Janet/neighbor and family, Tickles Restaurant, Ms. Blaze and family, Ms. King and family, Enid Harris and family, Pamela Joseph and family, Irlene Barnard and family, and Rohlsen Davis.
She has 29 great-nieces and nephews, 15 great-great-nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention. The family urges no festive colors; please wear all white for the funeral.
