The Henneman family wishes to announce the spiritual transition of our beloved husband, son, brother, uncle father, and grandfather. Myron B. Henneman, affectionately known as “Buddy” or “Kunta” 73, who died in Philadelphia on Saturday, February 2, 2019.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Carol O’Bryan Henneman; his stepmother, Doris Vialet Henneman; his adopted father, Arthur Harthman, his aunt, Leandra Henneman Abbott; his mother-in-law, Elsa D. O’Bryan; His siblings - Joyce Henneman Martin, Roy “Togie” Henneman, Audi Henneman, and Debra Henneman-Smith.
He is also survived by his children, Marlo Henneman Crossley, Shane “Fyah” Henneman, and Alani Henneman Todman; his sons in law. Orville Crossley and Ishmael Todman, Jr.; his grandchildren Che’velle Peters Saddler, J’Mel Henneman, Terrell Baptist, Trinity Cristina Henneman, Ishanaé, Ishalyn, Jahnaiya Iyzhaeh, Iylianna Ali Todman, D’Nasia Smith, and Jolissa Gifft.
He is also survived by his nieces - Mia Trotman Samuel, Jonelle Martin Holmes, Kioka Abbott, Ronice Henneman, Tiffany Trotman James, Risha Henneman Holmes, Amika and Akia Henneman, and Camille Smith; and his nephews - Royce Creque, Ashiel Smith, and Akai Henneman.
Buddy’s memory will also be cherished by his sisters-in-law, Avril O’Reilly Henneman, Sheryl O’Bryan Johnson, and Adelia Rodriguez Henneman; his brothers-in-law, Joel Martin, Sr., James Smith, Alvaris Trotman, James A. O’Bryan, Jr., and Anthony Johnson.
He leaves a legacy of love for his cousins, great nieces and nephews too emulate.
He was preceded in death by his parents Antonio Henneman and Marion Henneman Brooke; his sisters Edna Henneman and Claire Henneman Trotman and his son Kareem Henneman.
The family will celebrate Buddy’s life and cherish his memories with a viewing and service on Thursday, February 21, 2019, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, at the CAHS Ruth E. Thomas Auditorium. On Friday, February 22, the celebration will continue at 10:00 a.m. to noon in Bordeaux at the Farmers’ Market. A repast will immediately follow.
