Doris A. Carmona

With a humble acceptance of the Lord’s will that the family announces the passing of Doris A. Carmona, who died on December 18, 2018, at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale.

The first viewing will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home.  The second viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at St. Thomas Assembly of God with services following immediately.

Interment will be in Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay (Veteran’s Section).

She was preceded in death by her father, Efrain Carmona, Sr. (Blackie).

Doris is survived by her mother, Hilda Mattavous; sisters, Charlene Adams, Ingrid Carmona, and Astrid Carmona Tuitt; brother, Efrain Carmona, Jr.; special aunt, Aurora Doris Carmona Monell; uncle, Alexander Matavious; nieces, Sheila Dawson and Asia Canton; nephews, Daryl Dawson, Nicholas Maynard, Jr., and Janall A. Tuitt; brother-in-law, Janall C. Tuitt; great-nieces, Destiny Dawson and Demora Dawson; godmother; Leona McTavious; and many other family and friends.
