It saddens us to announce the passing of Gail Angela Samuel, 62, also known as Aisha, who passed on the morning of Friday, November 16, 2018, at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 24, 1956, in Charlestown, Nevis.
Gail (Aisha) worked until her retirement at the Human Services Department in early child development (Headstart Program). Because of her love for children, she embraced so many, who call her mom, and many parents always bless and admire her dedication to all children.
As Gail walked this earthly life, she became a precious jewel to her friends, colleagues, clients, and associates.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Constance Eunice Morgan, and her adopted father, George Albert Samuel, as well as her sister, Juliette Morgan Pickering.
She is survived by her sons, Iambakisye Richardson, and Nosakhere “Mystic” Richardson; her sisters, Lyra E. Blake (N.Y.) and Rylis Morgan Gray (W. Va.); nephews, Rayjiv Pickering, Andrew Blake, and Travis Blake; niece, Khristen Gray; and grand-niece, Khira.
She is also survived by immediate in-laws, Elvis “Amba” Richardson, Jessica Richardson, E. “Rebel” Richardson, Ulric “Danny” Pickering and Asim Morton.
She also leaves behind numerous godchildren, many close friends, family friends, and loved ones in the Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, and around the world.
The viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2018, with the memorial service, to follow at Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
