A native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Jamal was born October 14, 1984. He succumbed to his illness on November 9, 2018, at Schneider Hospital.
Jamal is survived by his sisters, Carla Ritter, Coleen Ritter-Garvey, Nataki, Ishanna, and Nabinghi Williams and Jehrelle Warner; brother, Amal Williams; godparents, Elise Caiby-Warner, Ruth Van Holten and Ellerney Colbourne-Gabriel; aunts, Lillian James, Maysia Roberts and Juliet James; uncles, Ronald and Edwin Warner; biological parents, Stephanie Warner and Ricardo “Yahsha” Williams; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Jamal is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob M. Warner, and Marva A. Ritter.
The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, November 30, with the viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and service at 10:00 a.m. at Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services. Interment is at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
