Lynette Lenore Williams

Services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018, for Lynette Lenore Williams of Brown Hill Village, Nevis, who resided on St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. Lynette died Friday, October 26, 2018, at the age of 61 years.

She leaves to mourn her mother, Doris Walwyn-Tyson of Brown Hill Village, Nevis; her husband, Errol Williams in St. John, USVI; three children, Dishan Williams in Nevada, Javed Williams in Orlando, and Jamier Williams in Texas; two grandchildren, Jaeden Williams in Orlando and Kishan Williams in Texas; eight sisters, Audrey Morton and Lorna Webster in St. Thomas, Lornette Claxton, Cherry-anne Walwyn, Jean, Gillian and Curtis Tyson in Nevis and Iona Powell-Headley in Boston; six brothers, Clyde Powell in Tortola, Bernard, Clifford and Lester Walwyn in St. Thomas, and Errol Tyson and Hesketh Tyson in Nevis; father-in-law, Cecil Brown in England; nieces, Tessa Liburd, Abena Tyson, Ava Kendall, Bridgette Larmony, Cherise Larmony, Carolyn Liburd, Kenisha, Akima, Karina, Oriel, Jeniah, Adiola, Adicia, Judelle, Judene, Jahvincia and Jahvalicia Tyson, Chelsee Liburd, Kayla Powell, Shari Headley, Kadajah Pemberton, Casey Sibilly, Kiana Walwyn, Shanita Jones, Shanoya Walwyn, Erica Stapleton, Makarie and Nikarie Adams; nephews, Lincoln Liburd, Akim, Shaheed, Devon and Kejel Tyson, Dujon Walwyn, Quanito Griffin, Rashawn Marshall, Edward Walwyn, Terrance, Vern and Paul Stapleton and Grant Headley; 34 great- nieces and nephews including Naikah, Javier and Jamar Liburd, Akaijah Aulder, Kevonce Jones, Alika David, Udorna Liburd, Tyonnae Liburd and Aiyannae’, Jahmani and Jahmali Tyson; sisters-in-law, Joan Powell in Tortola, Sonia Richardson, Laverne Claxton, Lornette Dupond, Charlene Claxton, Rita Stapleton and Eileen Phipps-Walwyn in St. Thomas and Sandra Mark in Florida; brothers-in-law, Morrel Claxton in Nevis, Mclean Williams, George Morton and Merv Claxton in St. Thomas, Kevin Claxton in Maine, Elvette Browne in England, Dave Williams in California and Grantley Headley in Boston; aunts-in-law, Wilma and Rita Browne in Canada and Gertrude Browne and family in New York and Dulcina Thompson in St. Thomas; uncles-in-law, Wellington Browne and Archie Browne in Texas; special friends, Violet Claxton in Miami, Wilma Brown in St. Maarten; special cousin, Spencer Sturge in St. Croix, USVI; and other family members and friends including Clover and Verne Nisbett and their families and the Hendrickson’s family on St. Croix, Elvan Nisbett in Nevis, Wendell Liburd, Gerald Richardson, Oclevia Browne and family, Alford Howell and family, Vinnetta Callwood and family, Margaret Morris and Merlene Browne and family in St. Thomas, George Wilkinson and family, Charles Walwyn and family, Dulicina Brookes and family, Everton Morris, the Prentice family, the Hendrickson family, the Thompson and the Parris families in Nevis; Christine Constant and family in Pennsylvania, Kenrick Liburd and family, Sheila and Derrick Liburd and family, George and Avis Simmonds, Angie and the entire Chocolate Hole community on St. John, Jasmine Adams and Merlene Browne in Tampa, Fla., Jane Benjamin and family in Antigua; and the entire Brown Hill community in Nevis and the entire St. John, USVI, community.

The body of the late Lynette Lenore Williams can be viewed at Turnbull’s Funeral Home, St. Thomas, on Friday, November 16, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The second viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the Lutheran Church, Cruz Bay, St. John. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at the Cruz Bay cemetery on St. John.
