Services will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018, for Karen Salome Richards, who passed October 23, 2018, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 55, with family and friends at her side.
She was a loving and devoted sister, aunt and friend. She was a graduate of the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Class of 1983. Before moving to Houston, Texas, she worked as an accountant in several establishments on St. Thomas, including the First Pennsylvania Bank. With an abundance of love, Karen extended her passion to serve, not only to her family but to her friends and her community. She dedicated her entire life in service to the Lord.
The viewing is from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m at Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church in Estate Tutu, St. Thomas, with the service from 10:30 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to wear shades of purple or black and white.
She is survived by her mother, Claudette Steinbergen Richards; father, St. Clair “Terry” Richards; brothers, Volney “Oz” Steinbergen, Bernie “Cutie” Steinbergen, Pst. C.
