Ms. Geraldine Louise Fleming Williams a long time resident of St. Thomas who died Monday, February 5th at her home. She was born on April 12, 1934, in Anguilla. She migrated to St. Thomas where she actively shared her multiple talents, in crafts, as a cook, a baker, a par excellence seamstress and a gardener with her family, friends, loved ones, and most fervently, in her devotion to her church.  Her legacy includes nine children, two-sons-in-laws, one daughter-in-law and fifteen grandchildren who she dotted on with sweet treats and fresh baked goods and one favored cousin; she took in as a daughter from infancy. For this, she received the status as an honorary grandmother to her four children.   She also was a favorite aunt to many.  She leaves behind two brothers, Steven and Nehemiah.  Preceding her death are two sisters Elodia and, Regina and two brothers, John and Geoffery. Of highest importance to her were her relationships with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, siblings, sibling’s wives, in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins who she cherished and called by name in her daily prayers.  Her family extends to include the Fleming’s, Ruan’s, Hodge’s, Richardson’s, Gumb’s and St. John’s families and many dear friends too numerous to mention.
