A celebration of the faith-filled life for Veronica Walters, who died on January 7, 2018, in Atlanta, Ga., will be held at The Living Word Church on Saturday, February 10, 2018.
The first viewing will take place at Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The second viewing will be at the The Living Word Church on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.

She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Brown and Jasmine Walters Miles; grandchildren, Jeff Brown Jr., Janelle Brown, Jameel Brown, Macy Miles, Milan Miles, Mosiah Miles and Ma’caden Miles; great-grandchildren, Jameel (Ji), Michael (Mj) and Carter Brown; brothers, Walwyn Hodge, Whittington Hodge and Cleophas Hodge; sisters, Edris Phillips,Pauline Fleming, Helen Vanterpool, Joycelyn Greer, Rettie Bryan and Rosalind Lawrence; brothers-in-law, Rudolph Vanterpool, Jim Greer, James Lawrence, Winston Vanterpool, Louis Walters, Vernon Walters, Laurence Walters and Rudman Stevens; sisters-in-law, Mellie Hodge, Jacquie Hodge, Reubinia Hill, Rita Penn, Marion Levon, Emma Penn, Enid Pickering, Nora Potter Eva Blackwood and Maria Walters; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
