Marva Weekes Bonner

We regret to announce the passing of Marva Weekes Bonner.

Viewing will be held on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church with services to follow right after at 10:00 a.m.

Interment is at Eastern Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Winston Anthony Bonner; parents, Valerie and Reuben Weekes; grandparent, Ernestine Weekes; sisters, Ann Hanley, Sharon Moorehead and Emanda Weekes; brother, Aaron Weekes; stepmother, Joyce Horsford-Weekes; aunts, Thelma Gumbs, Simoneta Drew, Rupertha Grant, Beverly Norford Cardina Rivera, Janice and Alfordena Weekes, Gastele Foster, Bernice Turnbull, Iola Fyfield, Jacklyn Huggins, and Avril Newton; uncles, Norton, Melvin, Kenneth, St. Clair and Stanley Hanley; Ivon and Ezra Weekes, Hughlete Powell, Keith Claxton, Victor Norford, Juan Rivera, Erroll Grant, and Rupert Foster; nieces and nephews, Sheliah, Azariah, Aryana, Ameerah, and Adonija Weekes, Angelle Southwell, Taliah Layne, Mikayla Hawthorne, Renae Brooks and Jekara Bonner; parents-in-laws, Calvin and Fay Bonner; sisters-in-law, Dahlia Joseph, Grace Bonner-Layne and Karlene Brooks; brothers-in-law, Phillip and Robert Bonner and Ronald Moorehead; special friends, Hilarine Caines, Kayon Harley (Kiki), Paulette Wade, Ivy Dorsey, Sasha Green; and additional family and friends too numerous to name.
