Relatives and friends are advised of the passing of Ashley H. Frett Jr., better known as Johnny Black, Johnny Pat or Black, who passed away on Nov. 15, 2017, at the age of 62 in Atlanta.
Ashley H. Frett Jr., is survived by his children, Ashila Frett (deceased), April Frett, Avril Frett, Ashley Frett Ill, Ashanna Frett, Asharra Frett; aunt, Everette Trant; sister, Eastlyn Frett-Wells; brothers, Ansley "FuFu" Frett, Ashton "Minus/Ricky" Frett Sr., and Avery "TD" Frett Sr.,(deceased); sister-in-law, Eve "Pinky" Smith-Frett; grandchildren, D'Quan Rogers, Tremaine George, Sheraine George, Sherelle George, LeQuan George, Dherelle Simon, Amachai Brown, Aunique Brown, Akijah Benta, Haile Benta, Akajahlie Mcsween, Hakajah Frett, Ahijah Frett, A'Deja Frett, A'jah Frett, Ashayla Frett, Naeem Frett; great-grandchildren, K'Myia Rogers, Kayla Rogers; nieces, Raion Wells, Akeema K. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ashley Frett and Veronica Wilson-Frett.
The first and only viewing will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church from 8:30 to 10 a.m. The service follows at 10 a.m.
Interment will be at Brookman Cemetery.
